The Academic Enrichment Fund (AEF) Program aims to cultivate and support the scholarship and research of clinicians who devote the majority of their effort to clinical service. This fund supports a wide range of clinical and basic science investigations including hypothesis-driven projects and research related to patient safety and quality improvement (that follow the SQUIRE guidelines).

Provides the time, funding, mentorship and training necessary to foster the early career development of the next generation of Seattle Children’s researchers.

Provides the time, funding, mentorship, experiences and training necessary to foster the early career development of next generation researchers from backgrounds recognized as underrepresented in the extramural scientific workforce.

The Clinical Research Scholars Program (CRSP) is a mentored research career development program for CCTR, CRBT, NFCIBR and Ben Towne Center junior faculty members. The program objective is to support junior faculty in the development of successful clinical, translational and outcomes research at Seattle Children’s.

Connects students, trainees and junior faculty of diverse backgrounds, including those from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, students from economically disadvantaged and underserved backgrounds and students with disabilities, with principal investigators who hold grants eligible for the diversity supplement.

Supports research focused on reducing disparities and promoting equity in health and healthcare for children and families of underserved populations.

Provides educational and financial support for postdoctoral scholars to prepare them for careers in biotech or academia. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Seattle Children's fosters a cutting-edge academic environment supporting multidisciplinary research, collaboration and professional development.

Provides a summer research experience to students whose racial and/or ethnic background is historically underrepresented in the biomedical and health sciences under the mentorship of experienced researchers and principal investigators.
