Dr. Crocker’s work focuses on how environmental exposures affect respiratory health, and how to use this knowledge to design real-world, equitable and practical interventions for children with asthma. Recent areas of study have included community health worker programs for asthma, use of videoconferencing in asthma programs and developing tools to help parents of kids with asthma deal with wildfire smoke.
Dr. Crocker’s research uses qualitative and mixed methods; implementation science strategies; and community-engaged approaches. We are proud to partner with community organizations, public health practitioners, and healthcare providers both in the Puget Sound region and across the state of Washington.
