WebMAP Mobile App

WebMAP mobile app logoWebMAP Mobile is a brief cognitive-behavioral program (5–6 weeks) where teens can learn about chronic pain, set goals for increasing physical activities, learn relaxation and imagery strategies and receive interventions for problems with sleep and low mood. The app is based on content from the Web-Based Management of Adolescent Pain (WebMAP) internet program that has been tested in multiple clinical trials. WebMAP Mobile is available to download in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Managing Your Child’s Chronic Pain (Oxford University Press, 2015) is the first book for parents of children with chronic pain providing instructions on how to use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for pain management. It uses real-life stories, quotes and vignettes of children with chronic pain and their families. It allows parents of children with chronic pain to learn many of the same strategies and approaches that are taught by psychologists who work in specialized pediatric pain clinics.
