About the Award

Seattle Children’s Family Advisory Council invites patients and families to nominate a staff member, team or department that demonstrates the following qualities of family-centered care:

Listens and values your opinion
Shares information clearly
Supports your family
Offers choices
Respects you
Explains so you understand
Partners with you
Is flexible in their approach to issues
