The playroom is open to patients and their siblings, ages 3 to 11 years old, who are toilet-trained (no pull-ups). Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center offers three operating suites designed just for children and teens who need an outpatient surgical procedure but are otherwise healthy. As a parent, you will be able to be with your child right up until they are rolled into the operating room – and again as soon as they open their eyes afterward in a private recovery room.
When it comes to treating children and teens, our pediatric surgeons and anesthesiologists have more experience than anyone else in the region. You don’t have to choose between getting high-quality pediatric-focused surgical care and convenience.
