PAL for Schools is a telepsychiatry consultation pilot program for middle, junior and high schools in Washington’s Medical Lake and Sumner–Bonney Lake school districts. We connect school staff and students to psychologists and psychiatrists at Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington.

The program is a partnership between Seattle Children’s Partnership Access Line (PAL) and the University of Washington’s School Mental Health Assessment Research and Training (SMART) Center.

Telehealth consultation line for school employees

Eligible school district employees can use the PAL for Schools telehealth line to consult with psychologists and psychiatrists based at Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington. The consultation line is intended for school counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses, administrators and other school district employees.

The PAL for Schools pilot program is contracted with the Sumner–Bonney Lake School District and the Medical Lake School District. Information regarding program expansion to additional school districts will be available soon.
