An eConsult is a non-urgent asynchronous electronic consultation request initiated by a community provider to a Seattle Children’s specialist. It allows community providers to receive timely, efficient care guidance on lower-complexity and data-oriented clinical questions that may not require an in-person evaluation. eConsults will be submitted using EpicCare Link, which is available to all providers regardless of what EHR is used in their clinic.
EpicCare Link provides you with online access to your patients’ clinical information at Seattle Children’s in real-time. It also allows you to quickly refer patients (faxed referrals will still be accepted).
If your clinic is already set up with Seattle Children’s EpicCare Link, speak with your practice representative to obtain access. Practice Representatives can request to add/remove users for the clinic within EpicCare Link.
If your clinic is not set up, please have your practice representative complete the New Account Request registration form.
Once the registration form has been submitted, please allow up to 7 business days for the registration process to be completed. Once provisioning is completed, an email will be sent to the practice representative and the individual users who were included on the registration form.
If you are an SCCN user or hold an ID badge with Seattle Children’s, please continue to login the usual way through Okta.
