"Each child is so precious and full of hope. As an intern in Pediatrics, I remember holding a baby in the NICU and feeling like nothing else in the world mattered but that child at that time. I still feel that way and each child deserves the best care possible. I'm fortunate to work with a team of incredible people that dedicate their lives to helping our most fragile babies and their families through tough times. As medical director of one of our NICUs, I have the opportunity to continuously improve the safety and the quality of the care that we deliver. As an educator, I have the privilege of teaching our Pediatric residents and fellows and passing on this passion to them."
