    Attending pediatric neurologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital, an Assistant Professor of Neurology, Division of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is an affiliate of the Norcliffe Foundation Center for Integrative Brain Research. She completed her pediatric and child neurology training at the University of Washington and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatrists and Neurologists. She completed her PhD in Neurobiology at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA and her medical traiign at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She is a member of the American Headache Society, one of the founding members of the Child Neurology Society’s Cerebral spinal fluid pressure disorders special interest group, and part of the headache program at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She is interested in translational research in pediatric headache medicine and established an Intracranial Hypertension Clinic at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

    As a pediatric neurologist with special interest in headache medicine I have seen the frontline of headache care for children, the significant morbidity that it can be associated with, and the need for ongoing basic and clinical research to help develop future targeted therapies for children.
