  • Biography

    Dr. Georgia Griffin grew up in Vermont. She attended Stanford University for college where she ran cross-country and track. She attended Dartmouth Medical School, followed by Pediatrics Residency at Seattle Children's, and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Washington.

    Dr. Griffin is a sports medicine physician at Seattle Children's and primary care pediatrician at Odessa Brown Children's Clinic. She is a volunteer team physician for Chief Sealth High School sports. She is also a faculty lead of the Resident Education & Advocacy in Child Health (REACH) program at Seattle Children's Hospital, where she mentors residents and partners with community organizations in Toppenish, Washington.

    Dr. Griffin loves helping patients get back to activities they enjoy and prevent future injuries. She is passionate about improving access to active lifestyles. She treats a large variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Her special interests include hip injuries and developmental hip dysplasia, using musculoskeletal ultrasound to confirm diagnoses, and ultrasound-guideded injections when appropriate.

     

    In her free time, she loves to run and spend time in the mountains, garden in her backyard, cook/bake for others, and work on her Spanish.
