"I was interested in science and medicine since a young age and there was no hesitation in going to med school. Choosing pediatrics came later through clinical rotations, as I enjoyed working with children, being allowed to participate in their growth and development and allowed into their family units. I hope I conduct my care with values of kindness and humanism put forward. Working at our Heart Center at SCH is a unique opportunity to serve families and patients from a large geographic area, backgrounds and values, that teaches me a lot about myself as a physician. The hospital as a whole is incredibly collegial with a large team truly dedicated to serving our patients and improving care. I am an advocate for diversity and LGBTQA rights in health care and dedicated to fostering supportive and healthy learning environment to pediatric trainees. In my free time, I am interested in reading, learning languages, hiking, and biking."
