Biography
Christine Batten is a physician assistant with a clinical focus on neurogastroenterology, motility, and nutrition. She has always been interested in the bio-psycho-social model of health and as such started her career as a registered dietitian with many roles: working with a food justice non-profit to advocate for policies to reduce communicty food insecurty, providing medical nutrition therapy to hospitalizaed patients, and teaching food science at San Francisco State University. She went on to complete her master's degree and physician assistant training at the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining the team at Seattle Children's, she worked within the gastroenterology deparment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Additionally, she has completed a residency program in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona.
