    Research Description

My long-term goal is to conduct health services research that utilizes epidemiological, quantitative, qualitative, and community-engaged research methodologies to reduce youth mental health disparities. Specifically, I study how prevalence, diagnosis, access, referrals, receipt of care, outcomes, and costs related to mental health differ across race, ethnicity, nativity, and immigrant status. I plan to design and test behavioral health interventions to improve access to mental healthcare for minoritized and underserved youth of immigrant origin.
