Urgent Care Clinics

Urgent Care Open 365 Days a Year

Most of our Urgent Care in-person clinics and virtual visits are available 365 days a year. Urgent Care follows its regular schedule, even if it’s a holiday. Hours are based on the day of the week. Learn more about our Urgent Care locations and hours.

Please note that our Psychiatric Urgent Care and Orthopedic Injury Urgent Care are closed on holidays.

When it just can’t wait, care closer to home.

We offer in-person visits at our 4 Urgent Care locations in BellevueEverettFederal Way and Seattle, and virtual urgent care anywhere in Washington 365 days a year, including holidays. Urgent Care treats most common illnesses and injury concerns for children and teens up to their 21st birthday.

Urgent Care visits are not for medical emergencies. If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911. For urgent mental and behavioral health concerns not needing the care of an emergency department, visit Psychiatric Urgent Care.  

For in-person visits, please make an appointment before you arrive to ensure your child will get care. Please book only 1 appointment for your child. Note this is an estimated time to be seen. Due to high demand, you may have to wait even if you have reserved a time. Walk-in appointments cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for your patience.

Emergency or Urgent Care?

Use Urgent Care for minor illnesses and injuries when your child’s doctor’s office is closed or your child doesn’t have a doctor. Urgent care is the right choice for kids and teens with minor problems, including strains and sprains, pink eye, minor cuts and bruises, vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration, earaches, minor asthma attacks, mild abdominal pain and urinary tract infections.

Urgent Care appointments are not for medical emergencies. If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911.

Make an Appointment

Same-day appointments are available to schedule beginning at midnight. All available appointment times are listed online. Walk-in appointments cannot be guaranteed due to high demand.

  • Please note this is an estimated time to be seen. Due to high demand, you may have to wait even if you reserved a time.
  • If no appointments are available, please check back often to see if we have had any cancellations.
  • Please book only 1 appointment for your child. If you no longer need an appointment, please cancel it so we can see another patient who is in need of care.

If you are unable to use the online scheduling system, you can call 206-987-2211 to make an appointment if there are available appointment times. If you need an interpreter, call 866-583-1527, and ask for “Urgent Care scheduling.”

Cancel an Existing Appointment

If you no longer need an appointment, please cancel it so another child can be seen.

To cancel or change your appointment:

  • Option 1: Log into your Seattle Children’s MyChart account (if you have an account). If you are a parent/guardian, select the child who has the Urgent Care appointment. Go to visits, select the Urgent Care visit and select cancel. If you are using the MyChart app or accessing MyChart through the Seattle Children’s App, select the reschedule or cancel button.
  • Option 2: Click the cancellation link provided in your appointment confirmation email.
  • Option 3: Call 206-987-2211, option 3, to cancel your appointment. If you need an interpreter, call 866-583-1527 and ask for “Urgent Care scheduling.”

What to Expect

What you need to know about visiting a Seattle Children's Urgent Care clinic.

About your Urgent Care appointment

  • For an in-person visit, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time to check in.
  • For a video visit, log into MyChart (if you have an account) or click on the link provided in your visit confirmation email 15 minutes before your appointment time.
  • If you have not arrived by your scheduled visit time, your visit may be given to another patient in need of Urgent Care services.
  • The wait time and length of your Urgent Care visit depends on your child’s condition and the seriousness of other injuries and illnesses we are treating at the time. Our Urgent Care team is doing their best to see patients as close to their arrival time as they can.

Follow-Up

We fax notes from your child’s Urgent Care visit to your child’s primary care provider within 24 hours. If your child was seen at one of our Urgent Care locations within the last 48 hours and you have questions about your visit, please call 206-987-2211 during our clinic hours of operation. If you need an interpreter, call 866-583-1527 and ask for “Urgent Care scheduling.” Please note: we cannot provide medical advice over the phone.

If it has been longer than 48 hours since you were seen through Urgent Care or you need medical advice for your child, please contact your primary care provider or medical insurance nurse line.
