School Services

What are school services?

The school program at Seattle Children’s is a team of certified educators who provide school-based services to patients. We support students through teaching and school planning at no cost to families.

We teach students from Kindergarten through 12th grade who have a wide variety of learning needs. Our teachers are certified by the state of Washington in both general and special education.

Based on eligibility, our team supports students through school groups, tutoring sessions and return-to-school consultation. We work with eligible students who receive both inpatient and outpatient treatment.

This is a referral-based service.
