About This Blog
The world of autism is multifaceted and constantly changing. We at Seattle Children’s Autism Center intend this blog to be a resource on autism, as well as an opportunity to encounter a variety of perspectives and experiences from providers, families and autistic individuals.
We seek to provide information that may be helpful for families and individuals living with autism. Content will range from topics such as summer activities to sibling support to new research findings. In addition, we will share our perspective on the latest news and information about autism.
We know the topic of autism can be a sensitive one and there are many differing opinions surrounding various aspects of this disorder. We hope that you, our readers, will each find something of value from the topics and perspectives we share. We look forward to your comments and ideas for topics you’d like us to explore.
